Jan. 22, 2018 afternoon – check the news. Senate voted 3-week extension. House has bill to end shut down for now. FEDERAL COURTS WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL FEB 9 2018 DURING SHUTDOWN

January 22, 2018 I wrote that the Supreme Court and other federal courts will remain open through Feb. 9 if the partial government shutdown is still underway, according to the Administrative Office of the US Courts. I posted too soon.

The same afternoon the Senate passed and the House is considering this afternoon a three-week continuing resolution to fund agencies through Feb. 8.

Two hours ago the House still was considering the Bill. The Court post is moot if (once) the House votes.
